About Breast Cancer
Breast Awareness & Breast Cancer Prevention
Every woman should be breast aware and familiar with the normal look and feel of her breasts at all times. If any unusual breast changes appear, woman should consult a doctor promptly.
In addition to being breast aware, women can also reduce their risk of breast cancer by adopting a healthy lifestyle. This includes having regular physical activities, avoiding alcohol consumption, and maintaining a healthy body weight and waist circumference. If possible, they are advised to have childbirth at an earlier age and breastfeed each child for a longer duration.
